Thermal's band heaters are made to heat cylinders, such as pipes, barrels, or nozzles of injection molding and extruding machines. Mica Band heaters are constructed by winding a resistance wire or ribbon around a sheet of mica, sandwiching that element between two other sheets of mica, and then folding sheet metal around the sandwich. |
