The Fuji controllers in the PXR Series are the latest additions to Fuji Electric’s trusted line of process and temperature controllers.
In addition to auto-tuning and fuzzy control, these Fuji controllers now comes with self-tuning - an innovation in the control field. Self-tuning automatically retunes the controller under certain conditions, without the need to revert to auto-tuning.
The standard 8-segment ramp/soak feature has been expanded to include two patterns that can be linked to create a 16-step profile.
The Fuji PXR Series accepts temperature and process inputs and offers a choice of three kinds of outputs to meet a wide variety of needs in the process industries. Single or dual outputs include relay, SSR driver, or 4-20mA.
One of the most impressive features of these Fuji controllers is the large LED display. The faceplate, designed for NEMA 4X (IP66 equivalent) is watertight and corrosion-resistant. The easy-to-use 3-button keypad allows for programming similar to the popular PXW controller. The screw-terminal on the back further reduces the cost by eliminating the need for sockets. The Fuji PXR3 can be DIN-rail mounted with the optional adapter.

Easy Setup: (Programming) Though model PXR is a technically advanced temperature controller with extensive programming flexibility, the setup is typically very simple:
For many cases all that is required is:
1. Key in the Set point Temperature
2. Set Auto Tune from Off on On
Specifications:
Type of Control
ON/OFF - heat is turned on when process temperature is below set point
PID - ( Proportional, Integral, Derivative ) with proportional control, the heater is turned on for a larger or smaller percent of time depending on the amount of heat needed. Integral - and adjustment to remove the offset difference between the set point and the point at which the proportional control stabilizes. Derivative - adjust the speed with which the control system responds to rapid changes in demand and also affects the control of overshoot.
Auto-tune-control - Controller automatically selects proper PID Values Self tunes - automatically tunes the controller under certain conditions.
