Adjustable Adapter (Brass compression fitting)
For installing thermocouples, RTDs, or other sensors with metal tubular sheaths in pipes or tanks.
Graphic of Brass compression fitting
When the cap is tightened on the  body, the ferrule is squeezed tightly and permanently around the probe's metal sheath.  The compression fitting and probe assembly are then threaded into place at the temperature measuring site. This provided a torque-free, leak-proof seal.

Drilling information for bayonet thermocouples with adaptor

Bayonet Adapter:
Part Number CPN8027
Used to convert 1/8" diameter probes (such as configurations 204 and 205) to bayonet probes.
Graphic of Bayonet adaptors for thermocouple or RTDs

Adapter is slipped onto the probe and located at the desired position, then the nut is tighten to permanently attach the adapter at that location.  (probe not included)

                 $11.45

Conversion Probe Adaptor:
Convert Metric Threads to 1/8" NPT,  Adds 1" to Bayonet Adapter Length

Standard Grade and Extension Grade Thermocouple Wire
Temperature Limits of Insulation:
Glass Braid: 900°F continuous,1000°F momentary;
Polyvinyl: 221°F
Graphic of Thermocouple wire, standard and extension grade.

THERMOCOUPLE WIRE- STANDARD GRADE meets or exceeds ISA (Instrument Society of America) specifications for accuracy.  Both legs of the thermocouple wire pair are included in the pricing below.  A variety of insulation is offered to meet the requirements of diverse applications.  If the wire is to be used to run more than 20 or 30 feet, it is usually preferable to use the larger, more heavily insulated extension grade wire for distance runs.

THERMOCOUPLE WIRE - EXTENSION GRADE  is used mostly for connecting probes or "hot junctions" to instrumentation. To retard electrical losses along its length, it is generally larger wire and more heavily insulated than the standard grade wire. The extension wire types JX and KX (corresponding to thermocouple grade types J and K) meet the same specifications for accuracy as the standard grade wire up to a temperature of 400°F.

Standard Connectors

Provides quick coupling with round prongs and are made to the standard industrial size, thus allowing matting with other regular size plugs and jacks

Made of rugged, thermosetting plastic which has high impact strength.  Extremely tough and shatterproof, these connectors exhibit a low moisture absorption rate, good dielectric constant and are impervious to fungus attack.  Finger grips allow easy handling.  The bodies are color-coded to ISA color codes.
